Phil Carnovale has been involved as a shareholder in federally registered food processing facilities governed by CFIA since 1975. Phil has been on the forefront of innovation and was instrumental in bringing novel consumer food products to market. Phil has built and designed many processing facilities that have exceeded the regulatory requirements and have provided increased efficiencies and cost savings. Phil brings this same experience and enthusiasm to the cannabis industry.
Ryan Pinsky spent well over a decade in executive positions for sales and marketing, brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Taima. He has been heavily involved in the cannabis space since 2016, specializing in the construction, development, and implementation of cannabis extraction equipment and product development in facilities across North America. Ryan has been instrumental in the growth of Taima and is responsible for all business development, sales, and marketing.
DIRECTOR OF QUALITY
Wade Harmidy has been involved in Regulatory and Quality Management for over 5 years, and over 10 years in laboratory and production environments. Wade has been pivotal in establishing the processes and Quality Management framework for Taima Extracts to excel in providing exceptional services and products to its Taima Extracts customers.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
Gagan Grewal, a registered CPA, has accumulated over
13 years of experience in providing professional services across a broad range of finance areas including compliance, business process, treasury management, financial planning & analysis, audit, and financial reporting. Gagan has been instrumental in building out the financial and business operations that support our business strategy, and is responsible for finance, controllership, corporate development, and business operations.
PROCESS AND OPTIMIZATION ENGINEER
Mackenzie Wimperis has over six years of experience in the cannabis space, most recently working for Vitalis one of the world’s largest extraction equipment manufacturers. Mackenzie was responsible for the onboarding, process, and optimization of their units around the globe. Mackenzie brings a magnitude of experience from his time at Vitalis. He is responsible for all of the optimization and implementation of extraction equipment.
Brady Gallant, a recent graduate of the University of Toronto, having completed his master's degree in Mechanical engineering. While studying, he co-founded an engineering design and product development firm called Cradle. Brady is responsible for developing and implementing extraction methodologies.
